Me....
Dropped the Fazer yesterday at Ballaspur on way to Douglas, lowsided as came round the right hander to find traffic backed up to almost the corner, was doing about 50 so sat upand braked but it just went down like a bag of shit, no time to even try and save it, and with trees all around prob better that went the lowside route rather than over the top.....
Anyway this is where the pillock bit comes in jeans and trainers.........I KNOW, Ruth's given me more of a hard time than any of you guys can Got two nice holes in right foot, carpet burns without the fun on knees and a hole in my left elbow where the elbow pad in my jacket failed.....
Bike a bit fucked on right hand side, think the Givi rack has saved me from broken leg bits....
Could of been worse...... MV's tucked up in garage
Flame away guys.....

I won't flame you - you have been here long enough to see what people think.
I just hope you learned a lesson after this one. With all those sexy bikes (F4 MV 'ghwmmmmwmmgmmhhmmm') you should definately be able to afford some nice gear :ride:

The Givi fittings took a bit of a battering, just hope the subframe not bent as it's not detachable, fairing trashed, bars and brake lever fecked left mirror gone.... engine casing scuffed
pride dented... oh sorry that's me last time I fell off I was still a teenager

Sorry man, I saw this
"Anyway this is where the pillock bit comes in jeans and trainers.." and thaught you only had a jacket.
Seems like a fair amount of damage for a 50~k bin, hope you get her all patched up soon. Pity the metal frame etc scraping is always hard to get rid of :(

Sorry to hear about the Fazer!
I'm just glad you came off doing 50 and not 100km+.
Unfortunately, Bike riding requires bike clothing no matter where you're headed, cool thing is, there are some awesome casual bike clothing available.
The boots thing is so important, especially the ankle protection.
I hope your insurance company don't muck you around?

This could be a wake up call for me. With the heat we get here I am always tempted to wear the minimum I THINK I can get a way with. I might have to reapraise my thinking.

Can we come over and look after your MV until you are better? All in the interests of keeping it ticking over nicely, of course!
You are a silly boy, but it sounds like you are well aware of that. Repeat after me: "jeans and trainers are NOT suitable motorcycle riding apparel"! :hitcher:
Hope you're on the mend soon and the injuries don't leave any lasting problems.

She quickly runs down to bank manager to ask for another loan - this time to travel to far off places and ride someone else's bike... he laughs and says "I don't think so, sunshine!"
She sits at her desk and quietly sobs...
