Well, sadly it's time to sell my baby Amber. I don't use her enough to warrant keeping her, and being a student it's hard to fit her into my budget.
She's had a fun life with me, has been down the forgotten world highway, on Hampton Downs a few times and explored the north island, although I never made it down south :(
Maybe when I am working fulltime I'll find her again and try to win her back.
I've owned her for 3 years, and have done 43,000kms in that time (20,000kms on the clock when I got her). She's got near new tyres and has just had an oil change and air filter clean. Chain and sprockets are about 6,000kms old, should be good for a while yet.
Last big service was done at 46000kms by Full Throttle Motorcycles in Pukekohe. I had the valve clearances checked then, and was told they were fine, but they are probably due to be checked again. I've got a spare rearset and clutch lever which I'll chuck in, and some touch up paint which I got from the UK. Has oggi crash knobs, mirror extenders, and a luggage net.
She's in pretty good nick, still lovely and shiny, with a few stone chips (due to the distance she's travelled in her short life) but the included touch up paint can fix that, I just haven't had the time to do it yet.
I am open to trading for a 250-400cc bike, preferably with cash my way.
I can deliver to Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo, Hamilton etc for a price. Bike is in Mount Maunganui normally.
