Yep, Coventry Eagle=air cooled single. LE Velocette=water cooled flat twin. :yes:

Might be a couple more obvious differences about. Keep looking, answers tonight.

Looks like shaft drive prolly

One has a center stand, the other a rear wheel swing stand.

Took some looking, but I found it. The LE has a mirror. :yes:

The black bike has it's rego on hold.
Also the LE has a bird living in front of the RH cylinder and a very innovative convertible left handgrip

Yep to the shaft drive over chain drive, no one has spotted an obvious fuel one though! (both have twist grip throttles as well).

Also yes to tele forks over girder forks.

Last couple of obvious differences, Coventry Eagle is pressed steel frame and kick-started. LE Velocette is monocoque design with a hand lever for the starter.

One's a Noddy Bike used by Mr Plod to chase the other bike ...
