This is an awesome bike and I've actually owned it twice! I started my learners on it many years ago and as I was looking for a bike to finish my restricted on I stumbled on it again so just had to buy it.

I've owned it now for just a little over a year, I've completed my motorcycle license and now I'm wanting something bigger so I must sell this bike first.

It's a 3LN-7 (with EXUP valve technology) this is the last bike yamaha produced in the 4 stroke 250cc class and there was reportedly only approx 500 of these units sold (so it's quite special too).

I've serviced this bike both myself and in conjunction with Norjo Motorcycles here in CHCH. Within the last year I have done the following.
--New oil/filter.
--New front brake pads
--Replaced front brake disks (when I bought it one was warped)
--New fork seals (when I bought it these had failed)
--New battery
--General maintenance to bring it to a standard I'm happy with.

Ask any of my friends/neighbors and relatives and they will agree, whoever buys this bike is getting an awesome deal.

Overall it's a joy to own and ride. It is REG'd until March and WOF'd until April. This bike is sold "as is where is". You are more than welcome to have it checked out at your own cost and if you pay the full requested price I will purchase 3mths REGO and do a new WOF for you. It has been commented before by a registered mechanic how much of a nice tidy example it is.
