Cheapest way is to fly down and get it :)
Saw a post couple of weeks back with an estimate of ~ $400. But that is something of a guess.

Found a better one ... Learn about the search function.
I searched ["transport bike" "south island"]

Hi ya

Bay City Motorcycles (Tauranga) now also run a bike transport company.

Give Andy a ring and he will point you in the right direction :spudflip:

maybe it seems a lot, but I don’t think so...I am flying down to Dunedin in a couple of weeks, and the ticket is $279 each way. If you take the price of the flight, then the ferry and fuel…there isn’t a lot in it, the Transport Co has a lot of costs + it’s their living
