Honda Hornet CB250

The best looking learner bike in New Zealand. Unique color scheme of Burgundy body work and red wheels plus many mods.
You will become used to receiving complements about the bike from total strangers.
For those who don’t know much about Hornets they are a fantastic to ride and in my opinion are the best bikes to learn on as they are an in-line four 250 which produces a good rev range and horse power far exceeding the new 250 four strokes on the market today.
You will not outgrow or get bored with it in a few months. Good riding position, easy to maneuver through traffic and in town but with plenty of power for open road.
Hornet looks like a proper bike too with most of the parts shared with Honda Hornet 600cc. Ie it does have sexy wide rear wheel (180mm) unlike say anorexic Kawasaki Ninja. It is faster then Hyosung GT250 by 10Bhp and is lighter too. You won't be pressed for an upgrade once you have your full license.
The bike has been my daily ride for the last 4.5 years. I wasn't even planning to sell it, have just serviced it, put new tires but then stumbled upon a middleweight bike which I loved and could not resist buying.
Bike has the following:
Unique red wheels
Genue Honda wind screen
Aftermarket clear rear lights
Aftermarket gunmetal wide handle bar (much nicer then the steel one that comes in standard)
Additional chrome detailing all around
Carbon fiber dials
Custom mirrors
Rear wheel hugger (which does an excellent job of keeping crap off the suspension)
New front and near new rear Bridgestone Battlax tires (high quality sport-touring tires)
Note that the bike had valve clearance checked at around 25k. It is part of the service schedule and can turn out to be as damaging to your wallet as cambelt replacements with cars. Good to go for another 20k.
I can bring it to your place in Auckland (good if you are inexperienced rider) or can arrange shipping to anywhere in NZ at your cost.
