Hi.
Could all current 250 RIDERS..... or perspective RIDERS who are on KB please PM me your email details. I want to contact the RIDERS not the friends/aquaintances/hangers-on who are currently involved or are thinking about becoming involved. This includes Kawasaki / Hyosung / & any other eligible machine riders. Or if you know of anyone who isnt on here can you forward their details too.
This is just a request............. not the start of a debate on 250,s
Thank you.

Wadoya think Billy........... im absolutly besieged with takers............ NOT. have contacted organisations to get rider lists. People would rather bitch on about nothin hapenning and whats right or wrong on public forums...rather than be given the opportunity to have a say and influence decisions anonomously without fear of ridicule or repercussion. So as usual everyone will moan and bitch about how unfair everything is once it is too late to make any difference.
Some have come forward (funnily those i knew would)
Maybe i should post the info and retire to my "bunker" untill it is safe to come out. :wait:

Maybe you should get MT to remove the thread and put up a thread stating it has been removed. Seemed to drum up plenty of interest in the other one.

Maybe if you had given a hint of what it may pertain to, you may have got a better response. Now you're slagging them off, which should encourage them no end. If it's about the future of the class and it's rules, and your intention is to assist in that process by gaining support from those involved, then you should take a deep breath and adopt a different approach. One of inclusion and encouragement than derision would be a good start. My rider will send you a pm.

If you think those comments are "slagging off" then you are very easily offended. No im just highlighting the apathy among the racing community in general. But not uncommon in most sports or communities where a small minority of people do all the hard yards only to be told they have done it wrong by the majority.
I would have thought that the request to contact me regarding the class that involves you(collective you) would have been enough to make those people enquire. Either thru genuine desire to know or just 'being a sticky beak"...
Just trying to keep the discussion between concerned parties and not the world in general at this stage. Exactly the reason why i have not commented on Jamie Rajeks discussion regarding 600,s....... because i dont ride nor run a 600, and when i chose to do i will adopt the rules/etc set at the time and hope they were formed by civil discussion & common sense.
I will look forward to yours and Sarahs comments in due course.

Might be best to contact Hyosung NZ direct although most of their riders don't want to travel much south of HD,Still you never know,Not sure there are that many running at the VMCC series either.

Hi Merv.
All old and fat riders of 250 production machines (over 45 years and 80 kgs) should be allowed:
Full exhaust systems
Increased compression
Hot cams
quick shifters
.....endless list of performance enhancing mods to level the field....
Then Ramages bike would be legal as well.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR >>>>>> We did SERIOUSLY discuss a MINIMUM Bike/Rider combo weight limit .... but none of us could come up with a safe and easy place to bolt 40+kg's of lead - one suggestion was a compulsory backpack, but to be worn on the front like us real blokes, prevents the cheating underweight whitebait getting under their fairing screens as they do currently

Vic Club has a stated policy of not giving out riders details to anyone other than by official request.
It may seem pedantic but we will not give out their details even for this.
I will arrange a email to go out to entrants in our Winter Series advising them to get in touch.
