I know you thought it would be a dirty thread, because of the connotation's in the title. sorry to disapoint. (although someone will try and be dirty) :devil2:
I brought my jacket like 5 weeks ago, now I am 8 kgs lighter and dropping, (new years resolution that I am actually sticking to. :niceone:)
I would like to avoid buying another jacket for as long as possible but when should I bite the bullet and get another Jacket.
ATM I feel all right because my jacket has an adjustable waist and is still relativley tight across my chest and shoulders. But there is room underneath, (I could probably only just fit a hoodie inderneath the jacket now).
a little advice would be appreciated.

Is your jacket armoured? If the armour isn't snug with your bits i.e. elbows, shoulders and chest (if you have chest armour) I would consider looking in to a new jacket sooner rather than later.

Roll the armour around on your impact points. If the armour can move off your elbow/shoulder etc, then that's exactly what could happen in an impact.

Any place you can get it adjusted? Have a similar problem with my leather jacket which I'm looking to get fitted properly at some point
Also, how much are you planning to lose? I mean, if its at least another 5+kgs, you might find getting to a stable weight might make your options more clear

It's too loose when your cock can't touch the sides and it's like chucking a sausage down a hallway.

good news! I found the 8 kilos you lost, something to do with me ignoring my new years resolutions. Anyway, you shouldnt wear a loose jacket and it might just fit me nicely now so come on.....your loss is my gain:lol:

Don't fall off and it won't matter.
Change your jacket then get dumped by the Mrs, lose your job and get disqualified. Then you'll put the weight back on while sitting on your arse and need a bigger jacket. Vicious circle.

Buy yourself a tight fitting zip up norsewear or the like waterproof vest to keep it tight fitting once the armour starts moving on your shoulder etc (arms won't be so bad)
Once you hit ya goal weight then look for a new jacket !

This ii correct ...
Roll the armour around on your impact points. If the armour can move off your elbow/shoulder etc, then that's exactly what could happen in an impact.
But more .. can you pull the jacket over your head without undoing zips and fastenings etc ???
If you can ... then this too can occur in an accident ... and then it's your skin on the road rather than the jacket ...

Do you wear a back/chest protector ? If not it may be an option to take up some slack.

I dont currently but I am thinkin of one, not only for the added protection but after seeing what they can do for ones posture.

I think It would be good for my back (old injury) and keep me from slouching.
