Negotiable on price of course.

A fucking ashtray?
Maybe to replace the broken one on my 1988 GSXR750j. I thought the thread title might have given it away.

He wants to buy one. He is prepared to negotiate on the price that he has to pay to acquire one. He will pay you in New Zealand Dollars if you have one for sale. Go to the first post & see what it says directly underneath the big words "Trader Ad Details".
Must be hot down in Karitane, huh?

That was a laugh! My bad too though I must admit.
I quickly read your post as 'What do you want it for', as opposed to 'What do you want for it'.
As we were.

Search on www.saledoo.com
There are plenty of new ones on there.
I have just spent two hours searching for an airbox for my gsxr750f with no joy!

The best site for oil cooled GSXR's is this http://www.gixxer.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=15
and here is the link to the interchange list http://www.gixxer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188067
If you subsribe to the site (become a member on one year or life time) you get access to the classifieds.
If you look at this it gives you a list of which bike use the same part http://www.ronayers.com/ProductDetails/N/687/SKU/130636 sorry it does not list 1992 GSXR 1100

1985 - 1987 GSXR-750 Starter cover: #11351-27A01
1988 - 1992 GSXR-750 Starter cover: #11351-17C00
1992 GSXR-1100 Starter cover: #11351-40C00
Diff part numbers - still may swap though who knows. It is the same part number as the GSX600F 1996 and no doubt other years with the 600/750 lump the oil boilers are like lego for parts most of the time :headbang: (pretty sure the 85-87 750 cover would fit too).
#11351-27A01 is also used on the 1st gen 1100's so the actual dimensions of the cover don't change between the two engine sizes, and visually checking the fiches they seem very much the same.
