New to Christchurch (Beetroot)

Hello all,

I have just joined this site as I hope to find out about some good adventure riding in the south island.
I have moved to Christchurch from the Waikato and have left behind a DR650, which hopefully is going to be sold this weekend.

I have owned the DR for a year and ridden on the road for a few years, but have had offroad dikes for quite a while now.

I am hoping to buy a bike down in Christchurch if my DR sells,
Am looking at a KLE500 or BMW 650GS mainly, but theres a road legal KTM 525 that even though I know is terribly impractical really rakes my fancy.

Hopefully I can learn of some good rides down here by joining this forum.

Thanks for that, some of those trails look excellent!
Am very very keen to get into that.

I might find some decent hunting areas while I'm at it.
