See your local dealer and ask if they have any old mufflers from bikes they've replaced with flash ones.
And TYGA performance has carbon skins. (http://tyga-performance.com/site/index.php?cPath=71_815_857) Worth looking at if they have a size to suit.
I've been playing with some stock Suzuki mufflers. They're useless once you cut them apart. They're built solid! Stay away from them.

Those Hornet cans are real easy to get a sweet note and no resistance from. 50ish mm hole saw up the outlet side. Whack the middle with a hammer to break the baffle loose, and pull it out. Free flowing muffler. Boom!
