Living in Paradise has its advantages ... everybody (of importance) comes visiting eventually. Each and every one on their own adventure. The dual purpose bikes are popular ... and a common sight on the roads and trails of this area
Some bikes are pretty much off the shop floor with the odd "aftermarket" bit or three. And some ... well some just do things ... their way ;)
If it wasn't a Honda ... it might have been called "Wrong" ...
It could have been the influence of the company he keeps ...

But when they left this morning they were in such a hurry to get away that they took the most direct route west.
Over the Cairnmuirs and into the Nevis.

The rider had no complaints ... He's still getting used to it.
They did the Dunstan trail yesterday. Few Hornets have done that. They were heading over the Nevis today.

I was there on the FJ before you ... the road seemed ok to me. (It's only gravel)

Seems they've been passing by all sorts of South Island KBers.
