I have this awesome job, boss rides, loves the fact that I do :2thumbsup
I work from his home, and the access is not biker friendly by any stretch of the imagination. I cant even consider riding to work because there is simply no place for me to dismount with out dropping my Millie. Think steep hill and no flat spots to be found. Match that with a gated property that I am the first to arrive at. I have to enter the gate code and I cant even stop on the foot path due to the gradient, that and the fact that if I do I will never be able to right my bike to ride it to a place I will certainly never recover from :pinch:
I have been thinking about how I can ride my Millie to work. Today I notice that the houses accross the road, have level areas of concrete I could prak Millie on. Their gates are always open when I arive for work, and I can see areas on their concrete pads that I could tuck my lovely on and not obscure their egress or access.
The question is, just how cheeky can I be?
Obvious answer is IMMENSLEY!
How do I approach them to ask the question?
The question being, can I leave my Millie on your section while I am at work?
Should I offer money?
I really want to ride my Millie to work!
I have the balls to door knock!

Tell them if they don't let you park your bike there you'll smash their fucking wing mirrors off.

Nothing wrong with asking. Just go and knock on their door. The worst they can do is say no. Better go with bike and bike gear otherwise they might think you're a Jehovah's witness :D

99% of peeps would be fine with letting a bike park outside, unless it is midnight hours you are keeping;)

I stand corrected, you are correct of course! I am inexpensive, great value for money and of very high quality!

In his gargre. I cant access it as I cant stop outside his gate due to the gradient, even if I could open the gate, I would not be able to stop on his driveway as it is steep and off camber for this short arse. And, should he be good enough to leave his gate wide open and his gargre door open for me there is not enough room in there with all his stuff, car/bike/gear/tools etc for my Millie to fit.

Hmmm... I'd definitely ask the boss to leave the gate and garage door open for you and leave his car parked on the street... ;)

Access is shit to be honest...house is on the right hand side of a downhill road (you enter the road going downhill) and the driveway is a steep/short incline.
If they was flat area at in front or to the right of the house then all good, but that is not a guarantee.

Or that it will be 1 bike if they say yes, or 50 if they say no.
