Hi all
Well I just got a new bike and thought I'd share. It's a 97 KDX 200. I scored it off a work mate for a grand. He also threw in a pair of axo boots, helmet, kidney strap, stand and some motul premix. So in a word STOKED. It starts in three or so kicks from cold and no problems when hot. Have spent about an hour or so just blasting around the house and it seems allgood. It seems that someone has put MX plastics on it which I like cause I don't really need lights and I like the look. Everything seems suprisingly tight (have had it in the stand bugger all play in either wheel or swingarm). Never really wrenched on bikes so I'm hoping to pick up some new skills as my boys are getting into riding and I want to keep everything maintained with my own two hands as much as possible.Don't think I have ability to upload pics. Any KDX guru's out there that want to hand on some tips would be much appreciated. I live in the far north so bike shops are thin on the ground and I would like to get a few things sorted, forks for starters I think. Freighting to Auckland would be ok though.
Cheers
