Gday, NWA don't have any in stock. Anybody have one sitting in their shed? Prefer SC2 and un-used, but would take a good 2nd hand one or super corsa etc.
Needed for this weekend, please PM me
Cheers

Nick Southerwood or Greg Kelly should have some 2nd hand SC2's (not slicks) - maybe even a spare new one.
Have you got their contact details ?

Sorry yes.
I have three spare SC2's of varying tread and age. Happy to help if you are really stuck.

Pity they don't make a treaded 160 race tyre. I'd be keen to try one.

Actually - I had one of those on the rear of my old CBR400RR postie junior. It was a very good tyre.

R003RS in that size also, well, 165. Worked awesome on the RS250. Heavier SV might not be so great, but worth a try.

Bugger all difference in size, but dunno if they would be legal, what with the SV standard tyre size being 160.
The again, I think the standard front is 120/60/17...whereas everyone runs 120/70's.

BT003RS is a 'Trackday' tyre, and is a 160/60 not a 165.
The Slicks are a 165, as are also the lightly treaded motard race tyres (Non DOT so not legal for class sorry Deano).
There is not a 'proper' 160 D.O.T race tyre sorry (Budda, they have discountinued the BT090 PRO apart from in the 18" :( ) but the BT003-RS could be worth a whack with the R10 front Deano...?

Could be worth try at the Tri Series in preparation for the Nationals 2014. Have you given anyone a free set in return for a review ? ;)
The only other options appear to be Dunlop or Conti's.

Not in those tyres! By then mate, we could have a proper race rear, who knows! (Not holding my breath though :) )

I'm a bit surprised there isn't one available from Bridgestone given the potential demand in pro twin classes in Britain and USA - maybe they are allowed larger tyres or slicks ?

You have hit the nail on the head there though "Britain and USA". Not home market, so not as high on the priority list, and to be fair, there is only those three countries it seems use a DOT 160/60.
