Hi

Looking for a set of rubber boots that sit below the carbs; mine are all cracked and not sealing well. Aiming for flexible rubber in good condition
Its for a 89 3ln but anything higher works too

Happy to pay for shipping

I had the same bike, yamaha hamilton refused to even look for parts for it.

I'd just suggest ringing wreckers.

If that fails try see if a gsxr/cbr/zxr 250 intake will fit.

a cut up inner tube from a bike glued around existing rubbers will seal cracks effectively. if done with care you probably wouldn't notice at a glance.

Any specific glue recommended? Thanks

Nothing special, just something that will bond well without melting either material (and something impervious to petrol and heat). Make sure join is on a non cracked piece if poss. I would use no more nails or similar maybe?

You can use silicone sealant shit to seal them, try a petrol proof one if you can.
If you're absolutely 100% certain it is leaking intake boots

Hi. I was able to get some hylomar universal blue. By seal them u mean the whole outside rubber areas plus the ends where the connections are correct? just wanted to make sure before I go ahead with it

Plasti-dip can work too. Will be trying with mine sometime soon.

Another option these days is rescue tape, bought from Jaycar.
Will do the job for sure.
