Get details of the bike, then go to NZTA or whomever. I think if it has the dereg papers from overseas you'll be fine

The bike belongs to my Ma-in-law's husband. He owned it in QLD before they moved to NZ. He has never registered it here, but has the paperwork to do so.

Thanks for the photos and info mate! Can you please check to see if he's got any proof of establishing a link to the last owner (eg deregistration papers, certificate of registration, invoices, bills of sale, receipts etc). Or any proof that shows it was legally on road there.

The engine looks very clean, did Allan clean it before the photos or it has been rebuild?

Yea she sounded good when I ride it back to Auckland and it looks like its been looked after :shit: normally these bikes get trashed.
