CANCELLED: AMCC ART Day 21/4/2013

It was disappointing to get the news about the last ART day for the season being cancelled. But as always, safety first.

On the plus side, more business for the struggling Hampton Downs.


Good afternoon ART participants - I have just been advised that due to the concrete barrier currently next to the track around The Mountain at Pukekohe Park Raceway the ART day on 21 April has been cancelled. If you have already entered and paid by internet, can you please advise by return a bank account number that we can refund your payment to.

The next ART date will be advised as soon as dates for the new season are confirmed, hopefully starting in September.

I can't see us back there for about 5 years if ever.

Have heard that some other car clubs don't want to run with that barrier in place either.

I would love to see AMCC at Hampton.
I am not a fan of the runoff on the hill as it was so do not like to ride or watch racing at Pukekohe.
Now the hill is even worse.
It would great to see a motorcycle club in full time at Hampton.
I could then attend you great training days.
