KX250f Top End

Hi Guys

I have just re-done a top end on a kx250f, I reset the timing etc and it kicks over and runs. I was pretty stoked for my first time doing a top end on a 4 stroke.

Anyway my question, when it idles it revs up and down just a little bit until it is warmed up. is this normal? It did it before i did the top end too. Coud the timing be out just a fraction on the intake? Bike is 2008 with 145 hours.
