Fox you need to look carefully at the top left hand corner. The date shown is 7 April 2013.

And there will be a group from the Blue Knights NZ I on this ride.

I've also asked if Greg O'Connor is going to attend, via FaceBook, and offered to arrange a pillon.

Be great if some of the senior management from Waikato Police join in as pillons as well.

Just wondered how I got registered. Thought it may have been cut and pasted into this years flyer.

Anyhoo, sad to say, I can't do it this year due to reason already given.

If you aren't uesed to being a pillion then I wouldn't recommend this. It's likely to be about 200 km's plus of winding roads.

I note that you come from out of district. Would you or any others of the"Blue Knights" need accommodation?

Cheers

What pubs are they stopping at ?

Pub stops replaced by Donut Joints;)

Thanks for the offer but at this stage I hope to have a couple of nights with another Knight.

At this stage the route is classified, but based on past years none. Finishes at the Waikato Commerce Club.

Thats real sneaky tactics, click on the link out of curiousity, and get registered.

I just might piss everyone off and turn up on my scooter, The 200k would be a piece of cake, keeping up wouldn't be, if its a group ride.

It's not a group ride. You would be very welcome provided it's got more than 50ccs

Thanks Jim, but the ride isnt really what the scoot is made for. There's no sense thrashing the wee beast to prove nothing. Yes its a 100 and goes bloody well, but as said its not a highway cruiser. On my own, I can hum along at 80-90 all day. Pity, as this is my only weekend off in April.

Should be a great ride.

Just a reminder of this event on Sunday. Part of the proceeds of the Poker Hand goe to the Blair Spaiding Trust Blair is a Hamilton based Police officer who has a brain tumor. He needs an operation which which cannot be done in New Zealand. Arrangments have been made for the operation to be undertaking in Germany. The trust needs to raise in excess of $130,000 I undersatand that well over half the amount is already in.
