The Sandpit is OPEN this weekend

Hi Everyone,

We are open this Saturday and sunday 9 till 4pm.
Staff will be doing 1 hour fire check from 4 .15pm and the park must be empty to do this.

All riders must have a fire extinguisher on them or their bikes at all times and NO SMOKING ANYWHERE!!!

I just can't figure how it can be wet enough for weekends but too dry mid week. It must be more to do with economics than rainfall.

My guess is they will see how the place holds up to some use. As they are having to do a fire check I would say that's by instruction of the forest owners.

Im sure it would be best for them to be open normal hours but not at the cost of burning the forest down.
