2 years old and 17,000 km.

Genuinely curious what you can do short of running it out of oil to fuck a 2 year old bike to the point where you think it "needs a rebuild".

ALso curious, can you get a WOF for a non-running bike? Trailer it there I suppose?

NOT RUNNING will probably need a rebuild but bike is worth at least 6k running so well worth doing. well looked after bike features screaming demon exhaust blue anodised blue screen screws to match anodised blue suspension adjustments, new chain, break pads, bearings, and duel compound pilot power 2ct tires with less than 100k's on them comes with 6 months rego and 12 months WOF. freshly painted tank great condition. only selling as am relocating over seas.

Not running

Well looked after bike

Probably need a rebuild

Relocating overseas

Hmmmm - I read this as: I stole this bike recently, thrashed the fuck out of it on the rev limiter, it went bang, cops are getting closer, I'm doing a runner.

I must try that sometime ...

It should have had about 3 oil changes ... maybe it's still waiting for it's first.

I was just going to point those very words, but had no explanation.

''NOT RUNNING will probably need a rebuild'' does not = ''well looked after bike''

I'm guessing its an ex race bike, just basing that on thtrade me user name Aidan, i know there was a rider called Aidan Dore (i think thats his last name) who works for hyosung or cycletreads which is based in takapuna, just a guess

WTF are "break pads"? Are they something that pads the bike from breaking?

Either way - I hope is braking is better than his spelling !!!

Couple of issues, Firstly, it is not a 2011 model regardless of when it was first registered. Secondly, no way in hell is it $6995 running well. Maybe $5K max but that's at a stretch. I just sold a 1200km example, like new, 4995.

It's not stolen. It is a genuine sale. Yes his spelling is atrocious.

Has bloody nice tyres at least.
I've sent him a message asking what's wrong with it, however if the engine is rooted (likely if thrashed, they do eat oil like fuck in the high RPM) it'll be worth no way near $2k.
It's a flabby underpowered turd anyway.

Cmon, it's got new bearings! On the other hand, why would a bike that has done 17000km need new bearings? I know it is a Hyo, but....

The bike is "well looked after" but the engine crapped itself after 17000km. Is that typical for Hyosung?

It is if you don't check the oil. Mates one haemorrhaged at 17k also with low oil level.

Not the bikes fault.

A 600cc under suspended/brakes/chassi'd pile of shit of course mate! :sweatdrop
The Hyo is a flabby underpowered turd compared to the bikes in its class, it's a budget commuter with a wee bit of poke, almost.

Sent from above, using people on crosses
