Hi all
I am a rider in my 50's . I have been riding bike for almost 40 years with a mix of brands but mostly Kawasaki ranging from trail/mx through cruisers and on to fairinged bikes. At the moment I am riding a 1992 Kawasaki 1000GTR which is a bit of a mixture of mods. I picked it up as a 2001 from a mate after he had an accident on it and also picked up a 1992 with a very tied motor. It has the 1992 frame and front forks as the 2001 frame and front forks were bent. I fitted all the rest of the 2001 parts/engine electrics etc. to the 92 frame. I have fitted zx10 stick coils, honda cbr929 4 pot front brake calipers, staintune exhaust, K&N pod filters, Rifle screen and a few other minor mods. Just love it .
My other half and I do a reasonable amount of travelling/holidays on the bike, usually with at least 1 5000 km trip a year along with lots of shorter trips.
I have been visiting this site for a while and thought it was about time I joined and contributed.
