Total insanity. I was looking up what suspension kits I can get for 911 and it seems the yanks have been building insanely fast SV's for years.
as in 100hp -yep 100 reliable HP out of a 650 twin.

Strap on a turbo to 911 Frosty.... :psst:
Bit off topic, but am I the only one to have seen the GSXR1000 turbo (http://www.bikepoint.co.nz/DesktopDefault.aspx?UsedBikeID=1049719&TabID=3553&Alias=bikepointnz) for sale on bike point. 210hp. Man- you could corner like bruce and pass the leaders on the back straight in 5th sitting on the back wheel :woohoo: Actually don't tell bruce about the bike - he'll buy it.

it wouldn't suprise me. I found out that 85 rear wheel Hp is pretty easily obtained from a carbed sv -for street use-simply bolt on a zorst and cam kit any you're away. not bad concidering on its last dyno run 911 was putting out 63hp so thats a pretty huge hp improvement.

fecking oats 100hp.... that would be a pretty damn quick sv. The stock one puts out about 67hp don't it???

I have a feeling that Terry Fitzgerald's SV (latterly ridden by Hayden F) is up around the 100bhp or maybe even slightly over?
Would be interested to see your next posting Sensei, after you've found out.

100hp is not too hard to get to -its all bolt on or in stuff.
the good news though is that the 85hp doesn't even involve major work.
It turns out that the after market filter in 911 is actually robbing HP by not allowing a clean air flow

The thing is the rules allowing SV650s to race in F3. You must retain the standard airbox filter element and carb if you have an old model but if you have a fuel injected theres nothing to stop you putting on a dynojet powercomander kit. I also beleive you not allowed to touch the motor.
