1996 Kawasaki ZX9R ignition barrel

Hello.
Just driving north from Wellington this evening and stopped for a quick break, went to start up again and the ignition is dead. ON doesn't light up ignition and key comes out in ON now. Flick key round to park and the park lights comer on so not battery. Ignition barrel must have died somehow.

Does anyone happen to have a barrel to suit my bike in the Levin area?

ThanksYour battery is dead. When my battery was dead lights still worked and my keys have always come out of ignition when turned to on.

Nope not battery.
Spend last few hours tracing writing diagram. Is either main fuse or ignition fuse. Took all out and cleaned contacts and turned key and all back to normal. Assuming contracts dirty but strange.

Ignition barrel is odd though as key should not come out in On.

Thinking contracts were dirty and sometime allowing power to power ignition. Dash lights were all off but park lights worked fine.

Can't fault it now, except key coming out. Had to park it at a servo overnight. Drove to our batch and all OK.

Weird.
