My last bike was $1400 to ship from the uk, but that was mine already so I avoided gst as well on top of that and the value of the bike (that took an argument and a ton of paperwork to satisfy the tax nazi at ird!)
So I guess $1500 + for one of those bikes.
If your still keen try www.Jamescargo.co.uk, it's not complicated until it arrives in nz!:(

Be careful....
I nearly bought one of those pd xl600 Hondas in a previous life... Decided to put the money into a season racing in the British enduro champs, ended up with a broken leg and living in nz before the end of the season! So I guess that bike took me on a longer journey than I planned and broke my bones just for good measure. That's what I call an adventure bike!

That shop hasn't existed for at least 4 years. Please don't send any money!
But yes bikes are generally better value for money in the UK.

Looking at your location, you could be the official kiwibiker agent in the uk! Send all cash in used notes to monchopper...

...I'll send mine when it clears through my contact in Nigeria... Yeah right!

I have helped out the odd KBer who has bought items of ebay uk and had the items sent to my place and I've sent on to Aotearoa. Fortunately they pay me direct to my NZ account and not through a Nigerian agent.

I bought my husky off a kiwi guy in UK called Gav. Any relation?
I'm planning on coming home next year and want to bring a bike or two. How long do you need to own the bike for in order to dodge the GST?

Weird, I sold a husky 125 to a pom bloke who was shipping it to nz for the isde when it was at taupo...

Just noticed one on Tard me, and an RMX if youre into that sort of stuff.... Both not much more than shipping alone from the UK - and no GST at the docks either.
