Was mentioned breifly in February.... if you are of course referring to the Long Way Round with your abbreviations... though I don't know what a 2paw is.

PC gone fuckin mad. I understand you may not have heard it that way; you lucky folks in the mainland don't have quite so much 'indigenous imput' in your lives!!

Ohh... still took a minute or two... you mean Taupo. Yea, we got some down here.... we now pronounce Timaru as if we're Aussys, tEemaru and at the same time the first a in Oamaru turned in to oOmaru, used to be more like Omaru. Something like that.
Anyway, with ya now.

Think I'll put that $445 fee towards a 3,500km ride with a pillion. I don't agree with paying others for my rides. It's bad enough paying rego fees. What happened to the old NZ? Oh, that's right, we gave it away.

like most paper roads now theres an unseen sign that says f#ck off and normally backed up with a verbal from the farmer, yet it my younger days a polite gidday to the farmer was saffice to get access to some mint riding, i approached a farm on the coast road to the port last year of which i used to have access.... he asked for coin and liability insurance and some other shit...... time to move to oz and attack some deserts

Unfortunatly some shortsighted people upset farmers resulting in closed gates (few and far between fortunatly). The main problem area I have witnessed is well meaning (yeah right) people who organise rides (for a fee :shit:). Some of which gets passed onto the land occupier (you cant own a paper road unless your Mum says your special ). The exchange of money and liability insurance then become the expected norm
Now what area have I seen a lot of this happening lately, hmmmmm let me think
Dont labour the point with the buggers to much Dino  However if the request for an exchange of coin is made sneak osh into the conversation :violin: If no money changes hands they dont exist, simple eh :Punk: As for liability, liable for what?

+1 and it also detracts from the people that organise some great rides just for the love of it, but i guess where there is demand people will do it.

Doesn't all that money inlude food and accomodation on the sat night... plus someone following in a support vehicle. Yeah its nice to be self sufficient but events like this are good in my book.
Wasn't Ross doing this ride also?
