Should have known a denizen of Carmentown would misread that ....... my education in Tawa included that which you speak of, never fear .........
Ask the Chow about "Tardis Juice", which was the spot of choice this morning !!!!!!!!!!!

Thats how its done! Congrats Jake, that 600 superstock ride just got 1 step closer!
I heard a rumour that World Superstock was going to be fazed out with the Supersport class rules going to a more standard spec under Dorna management.... Wonder if that would mean a full WSS ride????
Sam better pull his finger out if he wants to get anywhere near his top 3 goal!

young aussie Zac Levy was floating around 4th too, he was out here for a season on a 150 a couple of years ago and looked like he was heading somewhere with riding.

3 young guys just got a huge "wake up call" introduction to european racing. I believe one of them will rise up during the season........... the one who can handle the pressure;)
The people who have been behind Jake Lewis always knew they were on a winner...... its not all about riding......its how you approach your riding:yes:

Too right, Jake has always been modest, well mannered and fast. He has done the hard yards back home and it has paid off.
I was wondering why he had chosen to go to the euro 600 last year but after chatting to him at the nats he explained the shortfalls of the KTMs they had chosen...
Lets hope the success can continue

Excellent, hard racing by Jake. Good to see he's figured out the slipstreaming stuff - don't be the first to pop out of the slipstream, be behind the first guy. He also consistently got on the brakes later than anyone else.
Shame there wasn't any commentary cos it was a cool race.

you'll find that his dad Rob Lewis used to punt a bike round our tracks when Simon was a youngster here, that was one of the relationships that rekindled and helped them make the desicion to go abroad last season and spend some time staying with the Crayfishes...

Does anyone know if Albert Arenas is racing this weekend with EJC?
He was listed as a wildcard for Aragon, so maybe he is not?
A good result could see Jake extend his lead in the points by a fair bit.

Usually the wildcards are already booked for each round ..... cant find entry list for Assen. I would think he is not racing this weekend. Certainly did Jake a favour by coming 2nd if he isnt contesting the whole series.

Just another item to add to the list - to win a championship - as well as skill, money and a good team - a little "luck" sure helps :)

Ah, what a shame.
Did anyone see what happened with Jake?
The other boys will need to pull finger a bit, but it really goes to show that almost anyone needs more than one years experience at these sorts of things.

Jake was pushing real hard 12th - 7th inside half a lap. Knew he had to get with the lead pack. But still joint second in the points (Thanks to wildcard riders gettting good results) He is OK.

And like a true champion is taking away all the positives, and very keen to get to Monza....
Leader on points has 32. Jake is joint 2nd with 25, and a few are on 23/22.....
So still close at the front.

PODIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes! Puts Jake second in champs. Oh but for that DNF he would be flying away with it now. Consistency eh? Just look at Canducci's results (Leader by 2 points).
And the other boys were much further up the field than previously.
Well done all!!!
Well done Avalon, must be her influence eh?
Man I am so jealous (well not really, 'cos I have been there done that during my life in many different countries, not racing but living) of the kids having such a time of it in Italy.
But I would love to be over there being someones mechanic/helper.
Who's up for it next year?? Tyler? Rogan? ........ hehehehehe
