Confrontation

I read that the hyosung GV650 and GT650R engines are the same is that true?
If so will all the mounts be the same?
If so will a 2013 GV650 engine fit on a GT650R frame?
Im not holding my breath but its good to know.
Cheers
Greg
P.S. my 2007 GT250R has a GV250 engine fitted.

For Pre '13
Same engine,
So it has the correct mounts,
Has a different gearbox though.
However I think the 2013 motors are different?
Consult the Hyo forum would be my suggestion : www.korider.com
There are a load of threads about motor swaps.

Sorry that should read:
If putting a 2013 motor into a pre 2013 frame, I think they are different.
or a pre 2013 motor into a 2013 frame.

My 2010 GV250 had a GT250 engine/computer. At least I think it did as it would do the jerky thing or whatever it is, about 500 rpm before redline...

Wouldn't run with a 250 cdi or ecu
You had a rev-limiter fault or an inaccurate tachometer
