Sorry if I'm stealing your thunder Dallas......re your e-mail as quoted below.

"For all present and future Pro-Twin competitors....
MNZ have confirmed to me in a statement with Graeme Billington saying
"Pro-Twins will definitley have their own race in 2014 if 20+ confirmed Pro-Twin riders sign up for Round 1 of the 2014 NZSBK championship".

This is great news for all Pro-Twins competitors and myself as I have been pushing the issue.
Please spread the word to anyone I have not included in this email that you know intends on racing in 2014.

THIS IS BIG NEWS - BUT WE NEED ENTRIES!!!!

Kind Regards
Dallas Alexander"

Spread the word people, or better still, get yourself a 650 pro twin and come join in the fun !

Oh yep so is this an additional class to the nats program? Is this so you guys get more recognition for your efforts? i.e the first pro twin actually gets to collect the chequered flag?

Removing bikes from F3 is not the way to go - either go F3 or pro twin.

interested to see how they fit another class into the schedule. 7pm at HD was getting lat enough in the day.

Was only a few months ago I read on here that the Pro Twins class was potentially gunna get chopped due to dwindling numbers - now there is enough for their own grid...???

So we don't get held up in corners and then blitzed down the straights ?

Perhaps clubmans could be dropped to facilitate the separate race ? :dodge:

haha yeah sorry for holding you up at Taupo - my machine is pretty slow now its in bits :violin:

yeah totally why clubmans even exsists at nationals level completely blows my mind! Post classics would be fair better - If you guys get 20 Svs together then thats pretty cool.... unfourtunately it is only a matter of time before pro twins start to twindle, can't see many gladiaus (or what ever they call em) making it onto the track. The New ER650s don't look too bad, with a new frame and more power than the old ones.

you've staying with the SV then??

Get rid of 600s and supers.make them run separate so we can have more time for other classes

Haha - you certainly weren't holding any of us up. Pity the red flags came out so early though cause I was leading at that stage but only got half points :(

Yeah I'm staying with the SV for now. I would like to have a go at 600 SS but I don't want to spend the family jewels on racing when a bigger house/section is more of a medium term goal. I've been lucky I have a great wife who has let me spend what I have so far.

Yeah I was also gutted I cause Mr red flag to come out - that lap both J easton and I were on Low 36's.... Jas actually completed that last lap on a 36.4, but everything was counted back due to my red flag. Sorry again did the half points ruin your championship?

Yeah the 600s are interesting to race but I too could justify the constant outgong expense to remain at the top of the grid. It sseems I just spend all my money on rebuilds unstead. ha!!

So VMCC or you go save and focuss on higher levels?

Umm.. Clubman's only exists at national level as a support class to fill in time - something that can be shortened / dropped if "time is tight" (hey you could write a song about that :) )

Tri Series and Nationals for me. I can't afford to do VMCC winter series as well. And getting up at 5.30am in the cold, dark and often wet isn't the most pleasant LOL Although practice in the wet can pay off !

It's OK to go racing - not much fun if it's to get the cows in for milking !!
