Heya KBers
We are currently in Quezaltenango or Xela, Guatemala learning spanish before heading south.
I have managed to kill three icebreaker T's and gruds and you just can't get em here so a long shot I know, does anyone know of someone coming from NZ to Colombia, Equador area in June/July ish?
The postal system here is diabolical and unreliable on good day and on top of that the sting you HEAVILY for import taxes so seeing if anyone could bring some.
As I say, long shot but don't ask don't get.
On a side note, on all our travels so far New Zealand is still home and believe me we in New Zealand are on the final frontier of freedom so make the most of it gents (And ladies)
Cheers

Can't help but insanely jealous. Loved Guatemala, even G city though it doesn't have the safest rep.
Good luck!

Sorry 'bout that. Icebreaker gear is def the shiznit. I've tried the Kathmandu stuff merino and don't reckon it's as good - seems to pull, pick and tear much easier.
Also, while not helpful, somebody just had to post this:

Sadly I am not coming your way either but would like to put in a plug for 'Ground Effect' gear if you do decide to do the postal choice. Great range of designed and made in NZ gear which works well and lasts a long time. Their Merino is excellent and the 'Baked Alaska' top with its windproof top and high neck is good in many environments. Dont work for them just like their gear. Good luck down there.

Hmmmm can't open GE here will have to go to stronger Wifi in town.
And yeap definitely bringing her home that was the idea behind buying that so killing two birds with one stone, still be cheaper to ship her and freshen her up when we get home than try and find another one....she will have a few miles on her then tho :headbang:

I could send you one or two of my tops "Swazi" but Allen would have to hop in with you so to take out some of the wrinkles :blip:

Heya mate, hope all is well in NZ, .... cheers for your very generous offer
Finding good shit to wear here is hopeless so anything merino etc ..... hmmm but we will continue our search, I bought a second hand T shirt for 60 cents so will wear that out underneath the riding gear.
Luv to all :headbang:
