Man I want a four stroke!

Wonder if I get the GT going, someone will be dumb enough to swap it for a proper motor.

15hp at 11500rpm and it is 157cc, thats the start point there will be more to come

Would the single cam be a limiting factor for that motor? Or is it quite easy to have them ground to get the over lap timing sussed, and then just slot the cam wheel?

I really wanna go four stroke, but 15 horses is what my standard GT125 is supposed to pump out.

my xl 125 was meant to have 17 hp on pete's old dyno but his 140 kit was 18hp but when put on a dyno jet was 16.5 so guess mine is around 15 to 15.5 . need to get it back of my mate and see. l also have the morley grind that has the lob centres spreed which makes the engine far easyer to set up

It wouldn't be putting that out on the best day of its life

It does have a modified cam in it but we'll be doing a better one

Just put a GL145 in it or a Loncin and be done with it. :). I've seen a few for quite cheap. The fucking around (unless you want to do that) is not worth the extra cost of a decent engine. SOHC is limiting factor on this type engine. But 15hp and some hard riding and your'll be at the front of A-grade and behind the 20hp+ buckets, when they are there.

On this one, sohc is not the limiting factor. the valve train is probably lighter side for side than an FXR...

the limiting factor is the 2 valves. There's a better cam coming. This was just what he had lying around.
