Looking forward to second consecutive year. Fingers crossed re the weather.... Looked at Metservice today and she is looking pretty wet over the next 7-10 days.

Did two laps today of the west loop. Bit wet in some spots but otherwise all good. First time for me at desert stom. Thought there was a bit much gravel and WTF is with those rocky sections?!?

Yeah the mud just about did me in a few times, would have been nice if somehow it was possible to bully it off the worst stretches at beginning of West & end of East.

& thanks for whoever handed in my roll-bag which I'd carelessly balanced on their trailer whilst getting changed & in my haste to recover some lost time & get on the road forgot:rolleyes:.

2 Laps of the big loop Saturday + 1 lap of the 18k'r
Pretty easy to spot the difference in track quality between laps +1000 bikes over it
1 Lap of the big loop Sunday, was all good up till about 15kms from the finish .....That buggered up the possibility of a second lap for me.
