Parked outside work is a JBWCO JBW-150G. Looks like a Honda CBR600ish full fairing thing but has a air-cooled looking single. Maybe 16" wheels.
Anyone seen or heard of these before?

Yes, I know google... You of all people should know that!
Just didn't find what I was looking for: info about what it's really like... Who sells them here etc. Looks like good learner bike for those that 'must have' a 'sports bike' straight off.
Looking at that link - which doesn't work well here at work - that's not the bike I'm looking at outside. The one I see is a wanna-be sportbike 150.

Someone probably imported it as it doesn't say it is distributed in NZ. Not bad looking - the sports bike at least.

I think Mrs Ixion may raise a demurrer on that.

THat is truly hideous. Glynn Kerr used that bike in an Automotive Design journal to illustrate the fact that the Chinese don't think particularly hard about Styling. That thing has off road, sportsbike, two-stroke, and Ural design cues.

[shrug] Looks much like any other sprotbike to me. Lots a fairings and pretty coloured paint. 'zorts are a bit odd, can't make up my mind about them. And I never liked painted wheel rims, but they go with the sprotbike thing.

Someone probably imported it as it doesn't say it is distributed in NZ.Yeah, funny thing was it was parked in a car space (like it was a car) outside my work. Not outside Motorad/Sawyers across the road.
And it still had the plastic on the seat, but the tyres (what I could see of them) looked used-ish.
Ah well - feck it. Too much work involved to find out what it's all about. Where's my drink?
