No I,m a burned out Bricklayer with Arthritis ,was self employed for over 25 yrs and over 35 yrs in the trade
Had to stop, too much hard work for too long,it catches up you.
Not easy finding a non physical job at 57 ...so yeah I,m bored as fuck...
I,ve just fixed my bike up and I almost wish it still needed fixing ,nice to have something to do.

I used to walk as much as possible on it...but it finally got that arthritic that I've just had a triple fusion done. Was able to load bear on it Thurs after six weeks of no load bearing at all. Hope it'll be way better than it was. And yeah...Wanganui Boxing Day 2005. Came reasonably close to losing the foot. Your major prob feet/ankles or knees? Or a combo?

My feet were the first thing then my right knee went....now if my right foot starts to hurt I will adjust the way I walk which hurts my knee, ...but I only need to walk for 10 mins before I limp ...and hard work....I only have to look at site with blocks on it I feel tired..
Arthritis is a bastard alright...can take your job and your health all at the same time......
But such is life..eh.
