Checked my rear Z6 today as it was nearing it's end & have ride on Sunday on a road that demand's a good set of rubber to get full enjoyment out of it . Went round & hooked up with Shaun Harris at his new work shop here in town & asked if he had some race tyre's I could buy . How many ya after he asked just a rear I said , so he showed me 3 Super corsa's 1 SC1 the other's SC2 . Picked one with 6 Laps on it so as brand new just scuffed up . Sweet & a excellent price . Took the GSXR for a Very Quick road up my blast road to finish off the Z6 . Look Ok when left but ripped to bit's when got back as I thought it would do on the Sunday ride . Good thing I knew it wouldn't last as was proven by how badly it was after the 20k ride . Got back wheel out to find brake pad's where toast . Lucky he had a new set there dropped them in & put the new Supercorsa on & talked about racing & stuff . He had a Very Trick GSXR 750/810cc race bike there with all the Fruit gear on . Said it was putting out around 153RWHP , Shaun told me to run 29lb in the back tyre cold thought it was abit low but he said thats what the Manufacture recommended for this tyre . Will see how it feel's tomorrow may put it up to
32lb if abit soft . Bring on Sunday looking good :Punk:
