expressions of interest are invited for the acquiring of a race ready FXR150. SOLD

Ok so who wants a shit box bucket?
Just picked this bike up from the owners deserted eqc house to sort and sell, so as it hasn't run for a couple a years I will be stripping it down changing a few things like the bars, it has a under seat exhaust, belly pan but no dash and fairing. It is in a custom blue which was well done but has some damage to the single seat cowl from arseing up in the quake.
I will sort it out over the next few weeks and will try it out at the CAMs meet Levels on the 22nd.
Offers welcome

How much does she want for it ?Odd thing to say... I needed to make sure it went 1st, and I still havent ridden it yet, if its all fucked up then not worth much aye, but seems with a little time Ill have it running like it used to.
I dont know what they are worth these days as I dont think demand is what it was when I sold the last ones.

Not odd at all
First you say expressions of interest
then you will ride it on the 22nd at levels
then you ask for offers

If you have offers , when will you be accepting one, this month , next month?
The market hasnt changed, there are always people wanting FXRs, have been since they hit the track in 2005.

I just think your sales approach is a bit mickey mouse, just saying

Ya should've said it was Helen's (aka HOT's) bike.
It doesn't look bad at all, I was picturing something that had had a chimney sitting on it and was only good for spare parts!!

Worth a lot more than my cheeky offer.

Cheers

Dont worry Muz there more than meets the eye here. I'd like to see Helens bike go to a new owner and be raced.

The big question is: can you wheelie it?

The whinging on here is nearly as bad as real bike racers get.

The big question is: can you wheelie it?YES yes I can, even lifted it under power when hooking 2nd... and it does doenuts burn outs and stoppies.

Ok so got home earler than the norm today so draged it out to my very own test track... 1st 2 runs were slugish, next 2 runs it went like a haunted shit house, new oil and gas made a differance remember its sat for over 2yrs, so its woken up nice and IMO goes farking well, good top end due to a long header (I think) front end a little crocked due to arseing over in the quake and having a Ducati land on it, might drop the clipons under the T clamp felt a bit high to me.
