so my ol faithful xenon strobe just innt cutting the mustard.
Mechanic had fancy digital one with inductive pickup that i jizzed on...
Kb: Reccomend light that is ACCURATE with gague or readout, sub 200$.
Dont need multi feature as have seperate dwell tach, but all in one would be ok too.
Ed, i'll stop spitting in your socks if you giz the hookup/discounts with yr boy...

Got mine from gas and tool for $240 a couple of years ago. Had one from supercheap before that and it was crap.
I've had them all, and the best one I've still got - a cheap and nasty cordless. Just one lead to hook up, no wires dangling. It's nice to have advance on the gun, but I prefer that on a big box tunescope for accuracy....and it's just not needed these days. In a workshop a timing light is used about once a year now.

yeah, well in my workshop id probably use it twice a year. So well worth it. :D
