My mates got an 07 CBR1000 and hit a brick the other day when he was riding. It has left quite a noticeable dent in the rim of the wheel(would post a pic but Fish don't know how to use a camera and email to send it to me )

Does anyone know who straightens out bike rims in the Waikato that can sort it for him?

Cheers

(i'll give Gordie 5 mins to reply in some gay way :p)

Don't bother straightening it, just by a new one of a wrecker

I believe these guys did a rim for me (shop arranged it). If I have the right place, very good work.

I used those guys to repair the ding in my front rim after hitting a manhole cover in the darkness. I had the wheel sent there by local Honda dealer - they stripped the tyre and rotors off - and refitted same upon repair. Cost me $316 for that - last December. From memory the actual repair cost was less than $200...so if you can strip the rotor, tyre yourself and ship or deliver - I'd expect <$200.

Sounds like it needs a good rim job.
