Well I might as well post up the next day at the magnificent Kaitoke is this sunday.

The weather as always is in question, but remember that Kaitoke is not like the rest of Wgtn. Last meet that was dissed by many turned out to be dry for some of the day so it is worth pitching up regardless of what it is doing & then make the call once you are there.

There's a few people gagging for a ride, myself included.

I'll FINALLY be showing up!! Can't wait. Is anyone heading out there on Satuday? I'd like to make sure my bike still runs before racing it on Sunday. I'm going to become a club member again and get a key soon.

Also, does anyone know where I can buy or borrow a front wet? I have a rear wet but I need a front for the rain on Sunday haha. Cheers!

I've got a front wet you can borrow. But i gets it back. Pretty mint too.

Still waiting on parts for my bike. Might have to get off my ass and source them myself instead.
Or finish up Jays bucket and come test it.

Well as my bike won't be running for at least another month I plan to come up and can help in the aftnoon.

Well there was quite a reasonable turnout considering the weather. After so false starts I got my bike going but just the speed Rich Rogan & Hamish were doing in the wet was too much for this old man (and his $40 set of wets).

Bike ran ok on top, but needs some more tuning with the new bits, wet meet wasn't. Day to do that. I was almost relieved when the clutch cable broke when Mal took it out.

I do like my new shift light,. It's real purty.

Too much fun. So happy to be back on a bucket and it was an absolute blast in the wet!! Can't believe how fast you can go on those wets. I just need to spend more money on my bucket now. New muffler, better rims, better tyres, faster engine (but not quite ricbban fast haha) and then make it look all nice.

I enjoyed having a crash too. I have had 2 crashes the last 3 years at buckets now. I'm not surprised it happened in the wet, I'm not very experienced with this wet weather stuff but man is it fun on wets!

Yeah some good racing. I had heaps of fun. I haven't riden in the wet for a while. I was so close to running you over when you went down. Pitty i didn't have the camera on then. Some Vids up now. Stoked with the wins.

Watching your vids isn't quite the same without your racing stripe, I hope it comes back soon!

Both Amy and I had a blast and was stoked to see so many people there racing (18 bikes started the day), not to forget all who turned up to help and support the sodden racers. The benefits of wets were apparent for me by the end of the second session after two riders got intimate at Chicago.

I was impressed with Amy finishing the day after washing out on Pit corner late morning and starting to get her head around riding in the wet. In saying this I was stoked to beat her each time after she demolished me at Manfeild during the first round of the Winter Series.

I did have the most fun crash I've had in long time when I was chasing down Mike on corner four and having the bike slide out from under me and me sliding across the track and along the grass next to my bike.
