I just bought one from torpedo7 and am very impressed with it. Good price too. It seems the latest firmware update has cured a lot of the issues people were having.

All covered under GoPro's Standard warranty, everything gets shipped back to them, im not actually a re-seller. Theyre brand new, still in their original unopened boxes etc.

Don't need to add any shipping if you get off your arse like in the old days and visit the shop to pick it up. Cheaper than the $600+ that you will end up paying when the GST is added on by customs.

Expansys is not gst inclusive, so its actually over 600 for the GP3 Black through them. Also they're registered in Hong Kong if that means anything.

I just did, and was told by an Indian that yes I can pick it up from them if I really want (though he did sound reluctant), but still have to pay $20 (not the advertised $45) for shipping (as yes they bring them into the country to order) and I was assured the total price (inclusive of GST) would be $564. Apparently the $44 shipping charge is an error that they will be fixing in the future. He then said it would be better to just complete the transaction on their website but pay the lesser amount. No doubt there is an element of risk in the transaction so you need to make up your own mind and haggle to get yourself the best deal on terms that minimise the risk. i.e order it for pick up only and don't pay till its in the store.

However if you want to make it harder for yourself by finding and talking up barriers that might be sidestepped by an approach that is more practical than you feel competent enough to negotiate, you should probably fuck off and buy one somewhere else. It ain't any more complicated than that.
