You Tube now tells me I have to open a "channel" before I can upload anything more. Apart from that pissing me off of itself, I'd like to use the username I have always had. YT tells me I can't have that user name because it is already in use. Well of course it fucking is, it's MY FUCKING NAME!

Yeh they've been being dicks lately. Link you phone number with your account, use your real name, your profile looks like this so you should fill out all these details.... Generally get away with finding the 'yes dear' button and putting up with whatever small changes they force through but not doing much about it myself.

Maybe you just haven't found that same button to click?

as a result i have a lot less accounts than i used to, and retrive my email by IMAP. MSN messenger got fucked up by skye, so deleted that one too.

the ts&cs for yahoo's new datamining, sorry, "customer focused advertising", were fucking ridiculous. fortunately there IS still an opt-out...
