Review of my lid after owning for a couple months. This is it (minus the yellow visor)

Exo-1000, in 'Mana' graphics. (http://www.scorpionsports.eu/english/products/helmets/street-helmets/fullface/exo-1000-air/exo-1000-air.html)

1550g, +/- 50g, for the size L I have.

SHARP rating is confusing. It's either 3 or 4 star, I can't work it out. I think the D-ring version is rated to 3 stars perhaps??? It's odd.

Cost me $500 (including 1x pinlock insert and 1x smoked / 1x clear visor)

Pinlock - works flawlessly, couldn't live without it, enough said. Every helmet should have one.
Dropdown sunvisor - fairly easy to use and works well.
Visor lock - this has a tiny lever and it's hard to find in gloves. Eventually you learn through muscle memory where it is. It also has the function of cracking the visor a smidgeon, but this is quite stiff - I hope the lever doesn't break down the line if I keep using this feature (I don't often). This could perhaps have been designed better I feel. Often I'll go to flip my sunvisor and lock the visor by mistake, only finding out at the next set of lights (no major drama). Probably easier to use with summer gloves.
Breath guard - a bit redundant what with pinlock really.
Chin curtain - again a little redundant, helps to keep a bit of weather out I suppose.
D-rings - I know this is a plus for many. Work well and have a dome to clip the loose part up so it doesn't flap around.
Quick release visor - only used it once (switched from smoked visor to clear as soon as I got it home) and is a touch fiddly, but easy to understand.
Air-pressure-pump thing for cheekpads - bit of a gimmick really, I don't use it. I don't really trust it, I have the feeling it deflates over time.

Noisewise it seems quiet to me, but I don't really have a frame of reference - didn't roadtest a Shoei or anything else to compare.
One moderate minus - it doesn't have the 'positive fit' of the Shoei visor, so there is a tiny gap between visor and seal in some parts.

Overall I really like it. I was close to buying a Shoei but didn't like the GT Air fit, and wanted the dropdown visor which the Qwest doesn't have. The HJC IS-16 was a contender (and cheaper) but 2-star SHARP, no graphics, and came with one visor. I really liked the LS2 FF385 spec, but the fit wasn't right.

At the end it came down to the Qwest or this at a similar cost, and I figured I'd trade the 1-2 stars in SHARP rating, for the dropdown sunvisor, and an extra visor.

I initially thought the dropdown sunnies were a bit of a gimmick, but they really help agains sunstrike; drop down, ride through it, and flip up again a little later. I figure wearing sunnies inside a helmet as dangerous (crashwise) as the dropdown visor, plus I only use the sunvisor 5-10% of the time.
The extra visor is worth (to me) a good $50-80, as I can use the clear one in winter, and the smoked one in summer; and it'll mean each visor picks up less pitting / scratches.

Overall, a 7/10.
