As a front line policeman mid seventies, I have been guilty of letting go a few wheelies with a warning " great wheelie, but don't do them around here when I'm working".
I figured I'd have been a bit two faced booking for that. ;)

They count having the front wheel a few inches off the grount for a few seconds as a wheelie?
I would have said the TT guys top that each race.

I don't remember getting airborne on the TT. What were you up to?

Is that a double wheelie then?
I agree - needs to be a universally accepted minimum angle of motorcycle erectness before it becomes a wheelie. Otherwise it is a hover.
How to entertain 12 years old biker boyz.

Mr Banditrider,
Dear leader of our beloved NZ TT has clearly stated (frequently) it is NOT a race.
That said, I have indeed had the BMW flying previously, but any such flight is shortlived, and long may it stay that way. :sweatdrop
