Well guess I'll have to speed most of winter then I expect I'll have to dry off my bike almost constantly

if peeps took half as long to get where they're going
there would be half as many cars on the road
[try and argue with that logic!]:gob:

traffic now being halved
everyone is happier and less frustrated

shoot those who dawdle
and create congestion
especially those with stick family bumper stickers

This only works for the simplistic equation: 10 cars on the road for one hour = 10 car-hours 10 cars on the road for half an hour = five car-hours.

There are still 10 cars on the road ...

You need to factor in acceleration and velocity as well. The above is too simplistic for motion-based activities

I had (so I believe) a very good reason to speed and still got ticketed..wrote in and got off the ticket but it should not have got to that point.
Why do they (the cops) ask the question if they have every intention of not listening to the your explanation from the outset?

Possibly 'cos people say "The fuckin wanker didn't even ask me for an explanation..."

(So I've heard...;))

Better work stories.

More than likely, I questioned why (not officially) the ticket was issued in the first place, when clearly the superiors of the cop that issued said ticket, agreed with the explanation supplied, the same explanation as I verbally gave road side a few weeks prior.

Gave me a good work story.

Yeah close enough...she was about 45 minutes ahead of me at the time

It's the first thing that come out of their mouths is...''any reason for the speed you were doing sir''?...''well as a matter of fact, there is a little bit of poo coming out of my arse''...point is, doesn't matter what you say, they don't seem to hear it.

So don't talk to them other than the legal basics.

Anything else is you digging a hole an just wasting both your times,,,,if your lucky.

Oh I don't know. When I actually cared for my bike and washed it occasionally it was the drying it off that I looked forward.
