He worked for us at WMCC for a while and was a GC. A huge shame.

Yes, a very good guy indeed.... Very sorry to hear that....

I popped into work the Thurs before the event to get some shit I'b brought off Ebay and Kerry was there. We had his bike on the dyno.

I had a good old yarn to him about his racing. We chatted about the sad loss of Lance Lowe (Kerry rode past the carnage). Seems surreal it was his turn next. She can be a cruel mistress that Road racing...

Shit Pete - its not just road racing - life can be cruel like that.... It does your head in if you think about it too much. I suppose thats why mankind invented religion.

Certainly when people go like that there is a bloody big hole left that all the grief in the world can't fill...

I'll stop now before I get maudlin...

For those of us who race it is always in the back of our minds the dangers of this sport, but when it is my passion it's hard for me to give that up regardless of the death of a fellow racer.
l for 1 have had in the last few years lost some close friends/fellow racers in this sport :( and l think the 1 thing that keeps me going is their memory of them and them telling me to keep going while l can as l know that they wouldn't like for me to give it up because of what has happened to them.
So l race in memory of them all and will until it's time for me to give it up.
RIP #160, #67 #104 #34 & #71. Always in my thoughts.

Well said Skippy.
It is a truly tragic end to what was otherwise an awesome day.
Reminds you that stuff is real.

RIP Kerry, and condolences to all family and friends for your loss.
