So the FIM has listened to the Euro manufactures and will start a 200-300 2 stroke class next year, it will follow the format of the current EMX125 class and be Euro based only.
It replaces the old MX3 class which ceases this year, I'd expect to see full fields with the Euro brands putting in money either through factory teams or satellite teams as in MX1/2.
2 smoke just got a whole lot more interesting now in MX , will NZ/AUS follow?

I think it's pretty fair in nz now isn't it, 250 vs 250. I dunno I think the issue is cc ratings myself, the 4/ was given to big a margin by AMA/fim.

It'll be interesting to see if the support is really there for it, personally I'm pretty damn happy with the bike I have to be honest, not keen on a 2/ at this stage.

we did not follow, we lead, (NZ at least) we had a 125 national class long before the EMX 125 came in, we had parity long before anyone else aussie followed, then AMA amatuear and now canada,

people told me that 2 strokes would dominate that class, and the guys that got 1st and 2nd the first year in the all in 250's both started the season on 2t's, and then went to 4t's cause they were faster on them,
