Brought this machine at the start of the year and it has been flawless for a Chinese welder. Paid just under $1000

160amp TIG/ARC Function
40amp Plasma Cutting Function
High Frequency Start TIG
60% Duty Cycle (way more than enough for a TIG)
38V OCV (although I haven't measured it)
Welds stainless and carbon steels. Have welded up 0.9mm stainless with this easily, can lay a stack of dimes if you know what your doing.
Unit weighs about 5kg - portable as anything

Includes:

Ground Clamp (On its last legs)
Plasma Torch
Arc Electrode Holder
Air Cooled TIG torch
Air REG (This didn't come with the machine but I have a spare one if the buyer wants it)
Free demo and welders hand book if you are new to welding and want to learn

This is a very good starters machine. The plasma cutter is very handy. I have constructed a boat trailer using this welder and it welds perfect and is easy to move around site due to its weight.
Earth clamp is pretty fucked and needs to be replaced, shouldn't cost much more the $20. Plasma torch also recently blew itself apart but I have replaced all the internals and its good to go again. TIG function burns a little hotter than most branded welders I have used, 20amps seems to work well for 1.6mm stainless for both fusion and filler welds. I brought this off a retarded trademe seller and had to spend a bit of coin to get it working as it only came with half the parts needed. It will be sold fully working and ready to weld.

Your welcome to try before you buy. Open to offers but this is a fucking good deal as it is. Its a awesome package and I'm tempted to keep it if it doesn't sell.

Selling as I have upgraded to a 200amp ACDC Pulse Unit.

Any Questions?

WILL NOT WELD ALUMINUM OR TITANIUM!!!

What did you replace it with?

If anyone is interested a ALI setup will cost you minimum of $2000 not including argon. You can get cheaper machines but they are fucken teet

It was replaced with the following machine. Cost was $2250. Argon cylinder I brought outright for $988 for 5000L last year and is way better than paying BOC weekly for shit you might not use all the time.

Mmmkay. I'll just stick with tacking things up with my MIG, and taking them to professionals for welding up.

Can throw in a helmet with this deal too. Basic BOC flipdown one and I highly recommend a branded auto darkener (Not a cheap fucken chinese one, trust me on that)
All you will need is a argon cylinder and regulator and your ready to weld (Reg $100, cyl $700ish if purchased outright)

I hope its arc characteristics are better than your phones camera capabilities. IGBT or Mosfet?

Nah mate, that's just the raw power of the new unit disrupting electrical devices around it.

It will weld undiscovered metals from space and possibly kryptonite if you can find some.

Need this thing out of the shed boys. Any takers?

IGBT for the new one. Old one is MOSFET.

Have you used a Gas Lens set-up before instead of the standard Collet Body?

Yep, makes a world a difference in tight spaces.
