Wheelies out and I reckon slow speed handling would be tricky.

I agree, costs enough to put two tyres on a bike, without shelling out for a third.

There are some three-wheelers about and I'm not thinking of those Can-Ams or for that matter trikes...

nothing wrong with 3 wheels

Yeah ... that's what I thought too .. why bother to do that? More friction .. one more tyre to wear out .. seems pointless as well ...

Yeah .. all the down sides of cars and bikes and none of the positives at all ... (unless you're a Crip in a wheelchair ...)

Doesn't seem feasible to me

driven wheel should be the rear one cos of weight transfer (including the riders weight not just the engine)
engines way too high so horrible top heavy handling characteristics
lots of rear grip mid corner but the front won't be able to turn in at a high enough speed to take advantage of the rear grip
still only a single contact patch to put power down
wheel base is too long to handle like a sports bike

A motorbike version of a 4 wheel inline skate with twin steer wheels sounds much better. Wheels would have to be really tiny though or it'd be way too tall.

Cars suck !!! ... fuckers get in the weay and occassionally try to kill me as well (three of them in the last two days) ... I was just sayin' ...
