I'm over these bludgers, none of them are skinny, they ALL look boozed or drugged
Kindly people can go get fucked, all your doing is buying them more grog and drugs
Now the buggers sit on the ground beside ATM machines, hoping ATM users feel disturbed and leave their card behind
Also get rid of those aggressive limb gyrating, hand gesticulating, moral blackmailing, love bombing psychopathic leech pricks that sign up contracts for charities, then spend your money on crack to psyche out the next poor citizen
Leave the streets clean from moral blackmailing scum imposing self interested morality on ordinary people going about their day

Why would I give someone money for booze and drugs? That's what I'm gonna use it for.

It's well known that many of the street beggars in the UK 'earn' (sic) more than the average wage.

Meh, it is their chosen lifestyle, if they dont want to create something better for themselves and spend the day spewing and huffing in allyways and parks, thats their choice. Fuck em, I would not give them anything but advice. If people want to get caught up in the whole feel sorry for them, Im a good person kind of buzz, thats all good too.
The more you get your own shit together, the less you worry about the ways that other people choose to fuck up their life. :msn-wink:

It would only take three people to drop $5 on them, or seven people to give $2 ever hour to better the minimimum wage here ... I dunno about the average wage ... no good at arithmetic

Life is what you make it, if you think you are stuck in a certain way of life with no possible way out, guess what, you have no way out. There is always a solution, to everything.:niceone:

You get over it.... Walked to Wellington M/C's last week - 2 city blocks and passed 4 beggers and accosted by two of them. Mr 'scuseme' has been around forever but the rest - dear god one of them had an iphone.... 2 more on the way back on the other side of the street...
That was a BAD day but always a couple of three of them these days

the ones that treat me as human, i will return the favour.
Ive had at least several conversations with vagrants that most people ignored, because they said hello to i.
If the first thing they say is 'spare change' i walk on.
Then there was the sneaky cunt in town, said hello, hows it etc, then the 'got a spare smoke?'
as a matter of fact, none of my smokes are spare, but i offered my pack anyway,
'can you roll?' asks i,
no.
Well, i start rolling one for him.
'could you roll me, say 3'
'ill roll you one'
'aww, just 2?'
'one'
'i dont like them skinny'
well, if you dont want it then fuck off!
Beggars who think they can afford to be choosers can go fuck themselves.

I don't see em' on the streets much because I'm in a truck when I'm visting beggar country.
But I do find the window washers at the lights quite interesting.
One light sequence an they can make $10.
I just smile an carry on.

I welcome the idea of outlawing street begging in the city. Can't be doing our tourism any good which is actually making money for the country.
While we're on this note, can we get rid of the fucking window washers at the lights as well? I find them even more annoying then the beggers. At least I suppose they're doing some work... Whether it's wanted or not.
Anytime we have been in the shithole (aka Auckland CBD) never seen a beggar...takers yes, scroungers yes. The homeless bums act more like seagulls, they don't ask, they just take. If it's on the ground, its theirs. We had one stand in front us watching us eat a burger and chips, waiting for a bit to drop on the ground. I have no reaction but to carry on as if they are not there, as I do with seagulls.

This document (http://www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/EN/licencesregulations/Bylaws/Documents/publicsafetysop.pdf)intimates that it is already an offence.
Discussions with police have revealed that, while they have greater enforcement
powers to deal with offences such as car window washing...

legally, youd need a hawkers permit.
Window washers, i mind not. Buskers and street performers (chch buskers fest wuz the fkn shiz in teh day. And darling harbour used to harbour some gooduns) all good. They are doing something for money, and everyone does SOMETHING for money.
'any change?'ers, 'will pull pants up for food'ers, and layabouts should be used for testing...

A twist to this begging, is the guy that runs around our local supermarket car park going up to people with the line, ( often with a cigarette ),
Him " Please sir, my little child is very ill. We need to get her to the doctors straight away. We have no money, can you please help us?"
Me " Get fucked, you tried this last Sunday."
Him " Fucking arsehole".
He, walks away to another vehicle, " Please miss, my little child **** " etc.

Like anyone, really...
Had one in Auckland once - wanted some money for some food - reckoned he hadn't eaten for a day or so...gave him $5 (all I had) and he did actually go straight into McDonalds in K'road ( We also had an interesting conversation about Grafton cemetery - he slept in there, apparently)..... I had no problems with him.

Yeah thanks mate, I know your coming from a good place with that.
My real honest take on beggars is:
that they are ruining their health living on heavily trafficked and polluted streets
eating junk food
and damaging their energy field via de-gradating thought forms from passers by
damage to their self esteem
I still maintain a Kiwi Kibbutz is a good healthy place for some people.
Good food, ability to earn, subsidised accommodation, zero drug and alcohol policy
Wider society drops some people to their knees, they need protecting, from themselves too

I've seen some talented buskers raising funds to travel around in Queenstown. They put up great entertainment and laughter which is awesome and they deserve all the support they get. They had serious skills.
But that straight up "begging" people in the article is a fucking joke. What happened to honest hard work?
